Yoga helps children and teens learn techniques for concentrating, reducing stress, and connecting to their bodies in a loving way while having fun. Breathing Space classes incorporate age-appropriate poses, breathing, movement, games, music, and even art. Family classes emphasize activities parents and children do together. Classes often revolve around a philosophical or natural theme and always include some form of quiet relaxation.
This winter and spring we are offering monthly yoga workshops for families, older children, and teens:
Teen/Tween Yoga & Mindfulness (12-16 yrs)
1st Sundays – December 17, January 7, February 4, March 4, April 8*, May 6, June 3
Family Yoga (4+ years)
2nd Sundays – 4-5 pm, December 10, January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13
*off pattern due to holiday.
Flexible Pricing: Register for all 6 or 7 workshops in the series for only $18 per class, commit to half of them at $20 per class, or one at a time for $25. Standard makeup policies apply. Sibling discounts available. Workshops with fewer than 8 enrollments 7 days in advance may be cancelled.
