Good Moves Games Club after Kids Yoga Camp
with Labyrinth Games & Puzzles
Bobby Fischer, the legendary chess player, once said “I don’t believe in psychology. I believe in good moves.” At Labyrinth Games & Puzzles, we too believe in good moves. We believe that playing “real” games with “real” friends is one of the very best moves for the development of children’s brains, personalities and social interaction skills. Children are introduced to some of the best non-electronic games of all time. Each class focuses on different genres of games, such as strategy games, word games, math games, geography games and story-telling games. Children learn new games and are coached in tactics and strategies that allow them to improve their game play. However, the main focus is fun. Play should be fun, and there is an intrinsic educational value in playing games.
Yoga camp extended day (4-5:45 pm) participants will be offered snack (popcorn) after camp ends. They attend a Games Club class with Labyrinth and may read draw, read, or continue playing a selection of games afterward until parents pick them up by 5:45 pm.
