About PreK: We are able to accommodate a limited number of PreK 4 campers. Because PreK campers participate in all the same activities as K-4th campers and we have no scheduled nap during our school year camps, yoga camp is most appropriate for non nappers who are:

  • 4 years old with Breathing Space experience or
  • new to Breathing Space PreK and have turned 5.

All campers must be bathroom independent, outgrown any tendency to run away from a group, and able to walk several blocks carrying their own backpack, containing their lunch and water bottle.

Please note that PK4 students must enroll in the PreK group for the entire school year. They do not change classes when they turn 5. Thank you.

partner poseJunior Counselors: 6th-8th graders are invited to participate and develop leadership skills as well: apply to be Junior Counselors. Our Junior Counselor program is also open to 5th graders with Breathing Space camp experience (aka alumni).

Please create an account in the parent/guardian name, then add your child as a family member and assign registration to the child.

Kids Yoga Summer Camp: DC Adventurer – K-3rd Gr

DC is a great place to be a kid. Campers will do several outings this week to explore the community in which we live and many of the fun, fabulous and things to do around our city.

Depending on the optimal timing of outings, we may do our yoga activities in the morning or the afternoon. There will be less emphasis on arts and crafts during this camp week as compared to most.

Campers will get to outings by public transportation or on foot. Campers must be prepared for a decent amount of walking and be able to carry their own backpack containing their lunch and water bottle.

kids yoga breathing excercise*Schedule Notes*

At this time, we have only scheduled DCPS administrative days and a few federal holidays and charter school days off.

We are happy to explore offering camp for other charter school administrative days. In order to set up a date for an individual school, we need a parent liaison to take responsibility for helping us fill the camp, by circulating flyers and listserv announcements at the school and generally spreading the word. Contact us for details.

Cancelation Policy: Register Early

We have a minimum registration of 10 campers two weeks in advance to hold camp; minimum 6 campers to hold games club. We finalize staffing two weeks in advance based on expected enrollment. After that, we may not be able to accommodate late registration due to our student:staff ratio policy.

Within two weeks of camp, we only cancel for extraordinary circumstances.
