Baby & Me Yoga
is a blend of fun, yoga-inspired movements and postures for baby and postpartum-appropriate yoga for mom/caregiver.
Babies participate while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms. Class also features calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby’s sleep.
Grownups will use strength- and flexibility-building postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to address common physical complaints and mental/emotional stressors during the postpartum/new-parent period. No yoga is experience required.
Baby Yoga & Play
features fun yoga-inspired postures and movements as well as calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby’s sleep. Babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms.
Most of the yoga we do in Baby Yoga is for baby, but parents will get to do a little bit of moving and stretching as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. No yoga is experience required. Most appropriate from approximately 6 weeks and until baby is mobile.New Students: $28 for 2 Classes
Which class to take?
Take whichever class suits your schedule. For parents, both classes are a special opportunity to move and play with baby, learn songs and activities to use at home, get to know baby’s emerging personality, and meet other moms and dads. Baby & Me will focus more on postpartum recovery conditioning, but dads and other caregivers are still welcome (and those exercises are still good for you even if you’ve never been pregnant).
Drop-ins welcome for Baby & Me and Baby Yoga & Play. Reserve by the class or use a multi-class pass.
Prenatal and postnatal offerings allow drop-ins. Students can commit to a full series for a discount, pay per class, or purchase a multi-class pass. Start anytime.
