Toddler and Preschooler • Art Explorers
Making art can help young children enhance creativity, cultivate visual-spatial awareness, support critical thinking, build gross and fine motor skills, and it’s fun!
This class is for toddlers from about 18 months through 4 years, with the help of their favorite grownups, to explore and make art. Each class will feature a process art experience with a variety of media and time for sensory play in our studio. Activities are designed to build confidence, stimulate the brain, and nurture creativity and sensory awareness while supporting fine motor, observation, and social skills.
Caregivers must stay nearby during class and are encouraged to assist as needed, but projects are designed to be explored by the toddler independently. Families may come and go anytime within the 90-minute class period.
Registration: Each Art Explorers registration includes one child in the indicated age range plus a caregiver(s). Siblings, twins, and nanny shares are welcome. No charge for non-art-making babies (there's space for them to crawl around and age-appropriate toys available). Up to two parents/caregivers can attend on a weekly basis. The same caregiver need not attend every class. Occasional caregiver guests are welcome.
Siblings and Nanny Shares: A single caregiver may bring multiple children to class. Every child participant must be registered by their own guardian. Read about nanny share registration and discounts here.
Cost: Pricing is based on $16 per class for the length of the session. Registration pricing automatically prorates during checkout through the first 3 weeks of the semester as long as there is space for additional students in class.
Discounts: An early registration discount is automatic until 30 days before class starts. Sibling discounts are also automatic. Students registered in the yoga classes during the same semester are eligible for an additional discount on Art Explorers, see your registration receipt or contact us.
