Kid’s Yoga Camps

Breathing Space Family Yoga offers kids’ yoga camps in the summer and on days DC Public Schools are closed during the school year.

Camp offers enriching yoga and mindfulness experiences in a playful, non-competitive environment so rising PK4-5th graders can learn self-regulation and stress management techniques, enhance gross motor skills and fitness, and, most importantly, make friends, relax, and have fun.

We do movement and mindfulness, arts and crafts, freeplay, outdoor time, and even field trips.

Camps offer students a longer-format kids yoga experience with activities that tie to yoga class themes, but that we wouldn’t have time to do during a 45- to 60- min class. Our camps often have a theme based on the natural world, qualities of friendship and citizenship, or a fun book. We do yoga classes, games, crafts, journaling, stories, outings, and more.
