Back to Work & Breastfeeding

Whether planning to work from home, at the office, full- or part-time, parents have questions about how to manage the transition back to the work world after baby, including the practicalities of breastfeeding while working, keeping milk supply strong, and partial or complete weaning options. Learn more.

Lactation Peer Support: La Leche League Meetings

Breathing Space is pleased to host Friday afternoon parent-to-parent support meetings at Shenanigans Art Space.  

  • 2:00 – 3:30 PM Fridays October 18, November 15, December 13

Partners/dads/support people as well as the nursing parent. Babies and children are always welcome at LLL meetings. Families are welcome to bring toys to entertain older babies and children. Nursing or bottle feeding is always welcome (Please no other food. Closed-top beverage containers only.) Learn more and RSVP.

Infant Massage

Massage is a great way to connect to your baby. Studies have shown infant massage can help babies sleep better, gain weight, reduce fussiness, improve health and relax. Parents who massage their babies often experience increased closeness to and understanding of their infants, reduced stress and post-natal depression, and simply enjoy a wonderful experience with their child. Read more and sign up.

Baby Yoga & Play

is an interactive, fun class for newborn to pre-crawling babies and their grownup(s) that contains dozens of yoga-inspired movements, postures, songs, rhymes and activities designed to support baby’s development.
