Yoga for children is a fun way to support motor development, body awareness, language acquisition, and social-emotional skills.
Breathing Space classes are full of tot-centric yoga poses, creative movement, songs, rhymes, and sensory play. During class, children and their grownups explore motor milestones, gain confidence, build strength and fitness, learn social-emotional skills, and set the foundation for healthy body attitudes and a fit lifestyle.
Breathing Space is happy to offer baby and early childhood yoga at the Brazilian American Cultural Center, 3001 Sherman Ave NW, Washington, DC.

About the Space
Strollers may be locked to the fence in the front courtyard or folded up and brought inside. All personal items should be stored in the cubby area between the baby gate and the front door.
The bathroom is located toward the rear of the studio, past the kitchen area, and up the stairs.
BACC does not have yoga mats, so toddler class families may wish to bring one or a towel or blanket for final relaxation. Baby class parents should plan to bring a yoga or exercises mat and a blanket for the baby to lie on, as well as a small toy.
